Located in the vibrant heart of Paris at 276 Rue Saint-Honoré, Sapporo Restaurant offers an authentic Japanese dining experience that captivates both locals and visitors alike. Specializing in Japanese and sushi cuisine, this culinary gem delights guests with an extensive menu that highlights the rich flavors and textures of traditional Japanese comfort food.
Step inside Sapporo and you are welcomed by a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances cozy intimacy with spaciousness—thanks to its two floors, bar seating, and outdoor dining options. The ambiance is relaxed yet lively, making it ideal for everything from casual lunches to leisurely dinners after a day exploring nearby landmarks like the Louvre and Tuileries Garden.
The menu at Sapporo is a fantastic journey through beloved Japanese classics. The Donburimono selections stand out with beautifully crafted rice bowls topped with savory omelettes and mouthwatering proteins such as the Katsu Don—a tender, perfectly breaded pork cutlet layered with a fluffy omelette and rich soy-based sauce for just €10.30. For seafood lovers, the Ebi Don, featuring crispy fried prawns dressed in a similar luscious sauce over rice, is a must-try at €11.00. Those seeking bold, spicy flavors will enjoy the Mabo Don, a hearty bowl of spicy tofu and minced pork, delivering both heat and comfort.
If stir-fried dishes are more your style, the lineup of Itamemono offers excellent choices like the Chahan, a fragrant fried rice sautéed with egg, pork, and shrimp, or the zesty Kimchi Chahan infused with spicy pickled cabbage. Noodles also take center stage with options like Yakisoba, packed with pork and fresh vegetables, and its shrimp counterpart, Ebi Yakisoba, both priced around €10.00–€10.50 and bursting with savory goodness.
For those craving the comforting warmth of Japanese curry, Sapporo’s range of Riz Au Curry À La Japonaise dishes deliver satisfaction in every bite. The classic Curry Rice with tender beef and the indulgent Katsu Curry, where succulent breaded pork cutlets meet rich curry sauce over rice, offer hearty meals that leave a lasting impression. The Ebi Curry elevates the experience with crispy prawns, adding a delightful contrast of textures.
Guests consistently praise not only the delicious food but also the attentive and friendly service. Filip Nowaczewski describes the experience as "delicious food, delightful atmosphere and awesome service," while Vasco commends the friendly staff and generous portions, calling their spicy dishes "10/10." Longtime fans like Rocio Braud highlight the restaurant’s unwavering quality, noting the comforting flavors that have stood the test of time for over eight years.
Whether you’re in the mood for a steaming bowl of ramen, a robust donburi, or savory curry rice, Sapporo Restaurant promises a genuine taste of Japan right in the center of Paris. Deicious food, delightful atmosphere and awasome service. Even for ramen it wasn't very expensive \(^^)/

This restaurant is 5 stars all the way around. The food was absolutely amazing, we ordered the Spicy Tori Furai Don and the Tori Furai Curry and they were both 10/10. It’s a pretty good price, great portions, the service was quick and the waiter was nice. Nothing bad to say.

We really enjoyed eating at Sapporo Restaurant on Rue Saint-Honore. The restaurant is much bigger than it appears, with two floors, bar seating and outdoor seating. The food was very good, fresh and hot. The service was also very good, friendly and prompt.

It's been at least 8 years since my last visit, and I was so pleased to find the same flavors and service that made me love this place. This cozy Japanese restaurant is ideally located just a short walk from the Louvre and the Tuileries Garden, making it a convenient and rewarding stop if you're exploring the area. I had the ramen with grilled pork and vegetables, along with a half curry rice — both were delicious. Given the quality of the food and the prime location, the prices are truly remarkable. It's rare to find such authenticity and value in the heart of Paris. I’m so happy to see that after all these years, this little gem continues to deliver such a satisfying experience. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in Paris again.
